30 Day & 6 Month Warranties
At Tire Depot we offer the option to purchase a 30-day or 6-month warranty on all used tires with installation. This warranty protects you against tire bubbles and tire separation. If either of these issues occur within the warranty period please bring in your vehicle and we will replace your tire free of charge. Keep in mind that this is NOT a road hazard warranty protecting you against object puncture and it also DOES NOT protect you against blow-outs. A 30-day warranty is $5 and a six-month warranty is $10.
48 Hour Leak Protection
Beyond our optional warranties, all tires purchased with installation have a 48-hour policy that protects you against any leakage, bubbles, and tire separation. It is standard procedure for our tire techs to submerge your tire(s) in water to screen for leaks. Even so, we urge you to be vigilant about your tire pressure for the first 48 hours. Tires that have been damaged by running them flat can not be replaced free of charge.
No Refunds
Time of Purchase: In the event that, at the time of original purchase, the tire purchased is defective and we do not have another tire in the exact size you purchased, you can use the amount paid as a credit towards the purchase of a new tire, or if you so choose, we can provide you with another used tire in an alternate size. To find an alternate size that will work, we use the website www.tiresize.com. If you choose to have your original tire re-installed, you will be responsible for the cost of 2 installs.
48 Hour Warranty: In the event that the tire you purchased will not hold air during the first 48 hours after purchase, we will screen the tire for leaks, bubbles, and/or separation. If a leak is found, we will first attempt to patch the tire. In the event it cannot be patched, or a bubble or separation is found, you can use the amount paid as a credit towards the purchase of a new tire, or if you so choose, we can provide you with another used tire in an alternate size.
30 Day & 6 Month Warranty:If we do not have your tire in stock at the time of replacement, you can use the amount paid as a credit towards the purchase of a new tire, or if you so choose, we can provide you with another used tire in an alternate size. There are by no means any refunds in either situation; only replacements and purchase credits.
Center Caps, Hubcaps and Wheel Covers
The materials used to manufacture these parts age along with the rest of your vehicle. Chips, cracks and breakage sometimes do occur during the tire changing process. The integrity of the caps along with their ability to adhere to their rims is sometimes negatively impacted by time. Rest assured, we will do everything possible to prevent any damage of these aged parts during the tire changing process..In the event that loss or damage does inadvertently occur to these parts Tire Depot will not be held responsible.
Tire Pressure Monitor Sensors
It is common for Tire Pressure Monitor Sensors to stop functioning over the lifespan of your vehicle. Currently, these sensors are powered by batteries similar to those found in a key fob or watch. Tire Depot can give you a free quote on replacing and/or programming new Tire Pressure Monitor Sensors. In the event that one of your Tire Pressure Monitor Sensors is detached during the tire changing process we will make sure that the sensor is reattached to the rim. In the event that a Tire Pressure Monitor Sensor is detached we cannot compensate you with a new Tire Pressure Monitor Sensor. We can only perform the reattachment.
Rim Defacement
Tire Depot takes several precautions to prevent damage and scratches to rims. These precautionary measures include, but are not limited to, using rim protectors on the mount/dismount heads of our tire changing machines and using cloths at the claws to provide a barrier. Though highly effective, this system, like any other, is not perfect. This is especially true if there are additional factors that may cause troubles from the start such as painted rims that were poorly prepped when being painted. In these scenarios we do not assume liability and responsibility for the damages. We sincerely apologize for whatever inconvenience this may cause.
Lift and Jack Precautions
Though we do our best to spot any concerns that may come about while jacking up your vehicle we do ask that you, the customer, are proactive in letting us know if there are any known issues or specialty factors that need to be taken into place by the technician prior to working on your vehicle. Known issues that could cause problems during the lifting of a vehicle include: severe undercarriage rust, axle issues, a compromised frame, etc. If this information is not given to us up front and prior to raising the vehicle on the lift, it will be factored into our initial assessment and our quote will include the fees necessary to repair said damage.
Also, if you know that your vehicle uses air suspension please advise the manager on duty before the start of service. These types of suspension sometimes have required steps in place that need to be taken prior to raising up the vehicle. In the event that management at Tire Depot is not alerted to special jack or lift requirements they will not be held liable for any resulting damage. Air suspensions are more commonly found in luxury vehicles.
